Jordan Love has hit Green Bay Packers fans with a pleasant surprise as he’s made claims of possibly playing against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday.
The quarterback suffered an MCL sprain nearing the end of his team’s fixture against the Philadelphia Eagles in Brazil. It was initially feared that he could miss the rest of the season, but scans determined he would only be out a few weeks.
It appears Love is raring to go and is keen on playing in Week 3. He practiced on Wednesday for the first time since the injury and threw passes in individual drills after participating in warmups.
Jordan Love Is Nearing An Early Return
“Definitely feeling a lot better,” he told reporters after practice, per Ryan Wood of USA Today. “Just taking it day by day.”
The QB also indicated he could be back in time to play against Tennessee on Sunday.
Asked Jordan Love point blank: Did he think his season was over in Brazil?
All he knew was his knee hurt. Worse than any injury he’s ever had before.

The Packers did well in his absence this past weekend, defeating the Indianapolis Colts 16-10 with backup Malik Willis under center.
However, Willis might not get to suit up against his old team after being traded to Green Bay in the offseason after spending two years with the Titans.
