A popular actor who was once a candidate to star as the new James Bond has (jokingly) threatened to steal Taylor Swift from Kansas City Chiefs superstar tight end Travis Kelce.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are approaching the one-year anniversary of their highly publicized relationship. Swift attended 13 of the Chiefs’ games last season, including their Super Bowl 58 victory over the San Francisco 49ers.
Swift is traveling overseas to the United Kingdom for her ‘Eras Tour’ which includes three shows at the legendary Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh, Scotland.
With the 34-year-old Kelce staying in the U.S. to prepare for mandatory minicamp in Kansas City, “Outlander” actor Sam Heughan dropped a joke about potentially stealing the Grammy Award-winning singer from the three-time Super Bowl champion.
In a video posted on his Instagram account, Heughan teased that he’ll win Swift’s heart and steal her from Kelce when she lands in Scotland.
“She obviously doesn’t know this, but when she comes to Scotland and when she sees me in the audience, she’s gonna forget all about…him (Kelce). And fall for a man with a ginger wig. How could she resist? She’s gonna shake him off and take me out instead. I’m really excited!”

It’s obviously all jokes and fun games on Sam Heughan’s end. For what it’s worth, he was spotted holding hands with an unidentified woman just last week, so make of that as you will.
And to anyone thinking they can win Swift’s heart away from Travis Kelce? Just remember he’s a professional football player and probably not the type of person to mess with.
Travis Kelce & Chiefs Open Season vs. Ravens
It’s already been four months since Kansas City defeated San Francisco in overtime of Super Bowl 58 to secure a repeat as well as dynastic status. Up next, they’ll aim to become the first team in league history to win three straight Lombardi Trophies.
Kansas City’s quest to a three-peat will begin on Sept. 5, when they welcome reigning MVP Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens in the annual NFL Kickoff Game at Arrowhead Stadium. This will be a rematch of last season’s AFC Championship Game that Baltimore won 17-10.
