ESPN recently welcomed a big new addition in Jason Kelce, but at least one of the network’s personalities isn’t overjoyed about seeing him on air.
Kelce made his Monday Night Football debut earlier this month as part of the pregame show, and even hopped in the booth for a bit in Week 2 as his former team, the Eagles, took on the Falcons at home.
But Chris ‘Mad Dog’ Russo thinks it’s all a bit much.
‘You’re gonna get mad at me. I’m gonna say it anyway because I feel like it,’ Russo said Wednesday on First Take.
‘I think we’ve all seen plenty of Jason Kelce in the last few weeks.’

Russo continued to complain about Kelce making an appearance in the Monday Night Football booth alongside Troy Aikman and Joe Buck – a sentiment that at least some fans agree with.
Nonetheless, his comments caused an uproar with his ESPN colleagues as former Colts offensive lineman Jeff Saturday called him a ‘hater.
Meanwhile, Stephen A. Smith defended Kelce as ‘a new star to the network’ and said ‘I happen to like Jason a great deal.’
Kelce was in great spirits during his return to Lincoln Financial Field, as he was seen dancing onstage and even throwing beers to fans.
He was even accused by some of getting drunk ahead of his TV duties, but he denied that that was the case on a subsequent episode of New Heights.
