It didn’t take the referees very long to get on everyone’s nerves during the New York Giants’ clash against the Dallas Cowboys on ‘Thursday Night Football.’
The officials totally stole a drive from the Giants with a facemask call on Daniel Bellinger, which should have actually been a penalty against DeMarvion Overshown, as he was clearly the one holding a mask on the play.
NY was hit with a 15-yard penalty, which ultimately stopped their attempts at a touchdown, forcing them to go for a field goal instead.

Fans were absolutely seething after seeing the replay online, with some even calling for the ref to be fired on the spot.
That ref should be fired.

“These refs gotta get their eyes checked 😭,” one wrote.
“This is why penalties should be challengeable. Totally wrong call that ended a drive,” another suggested.
“How much help does Dak need?😭,” someone asked.
“Crazy how bad these refs can be man,” said a fourth.
Who do you think got a facemask penalty called on them on this play?
