Gardner Minshew caught in disgusting act live on TV after being benched in disastrous game

It seems like the two interceptions that Gardner Minshew threw on Sunday weren’t the only things being ‘picked’.

After a disastrous day for the Las Vegas Raiders quarterback, he was benched for backup Aidan O’Connell in the team’s 34-18 loss to the divisional rival Denver Broncos.

Minshew was relegated to wearing a headset for the remainder of the game, but late in the fourth quarter, cameras caught the quarterback at an inopportune time.

He was seen sticking his thumb along the edge of his nose and then moving his hand to his mouth.

Fans speculated that Minshew had picked his nose and then put whatever he found in there in his mouth.

Social media trolled Minshew, making puns of his last name among other hilarious posts.

‘ok and that’s somehow the least offensive thing he did today,’ wrote one person on X, formerly Twitter.

‘Well now we have to start Aidan the rest of the year otherwise we gonna be known as that team with the QB who eats his own boogers. Dammit Gardner, I trusted you,’ said a dejected Raiders fan.

The only thing nastier than Minshew ‘digging for gold’ would be his performance on Sunday against one of the league’s best pass defenses.

Minshew only tossed 17 passes, completing 12 of them for 137 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions while getting sacked twice.

O’Connell didn’t do much better – going 10-for-20 for 94 yards and tossing an interception while also taking a sack.

The 2-3 Raiders will hope to pick up the pieces next week when they host the Pittsburgh Steelers.
