The entire internet is anxious to know if the house that went viral for being strapped down survived hurricane Milton.
Tampa resident Mohammed Nijem went viral after deciding the best way to prevent his home from being destroyed by the hurricane was to strap it down with six yellow straps which were attached to the ground and went over the roof of his house.
Local news outlet Spectrum Bay News 9 covered the story and shared a photo of the bizzare sight along with the caption: ‘Viewer Mohammed Nijem is getting prepped for Hurricane Milton,’.

One person wrote ‘This is the most Florida thing I’ve ever seen,’ while another shared ‘Everyone is laughing now, but this man will be a legend when all the other houses are floating down the road and he’s sitting in his new living room swimming pool watching TV powered by a Starlink terminal,’.
