Georgia head coach Kirby Smart had some words for both ESPN and the officials after the Bulldogs beat Texas on Saturday.

Following the 30-15 win, Smart spoke to a sideline reporter and accused The Worldwide Leader in Sports of doubting his team while claiming the referees tried to rob them.

“Your whole network doubted us, and the refs tried to rob us with calls in this place,” he said.

Smart clearly felt like there was some media bias against his team, and he was particularly peeved over some of the calls that went against them.

Kirby Smart Watched The Bulldogs Get Off To A Strong Start

As Kirby pointed out in the clip above, the Bulldogs came to eat, and eat they did.

Georgia started the game strongly, taking a 23-0 lead into halftime as they put some stifling defense on display.

One of the more controversial refereeing decisions came after a pass interference was called against the Longhorns and overturned following Texas fans throwing debris onto the field in the third quarter.

The reversal ultimately handed the home team possession in a dangerous position.

Steve Sarkisian’s side attempted to get on the comeback trail in the second half, finding the end zone and converting for an extra two points. Even so, they failed to take advantage of their opportunities.

The Georgia defense executed as planned, holding the opposition and forcing turnovers, while Texas struggled to find momentum, having dug themselves into a hole in the first half.
