Angel Reese did go viral at the National Championship game two championships ago. She was the player who was up in the “Prom Queen” Caitlin Clarke’s face, smack talking her, getting into her record breaking head and garnering the support of everyone for being the basketball bully that they didn’t cancel.
Rappers and celebs showed up, she made millions of dollars, and now she’s been drafted to the WNBA along with Caitlin Clarke to continue that rivarly.
The fact is that Caitlin Clarke is not that compelling of a figure, even with her star playing skills, she needs the villains to make her more interesting and Reese is one of the original villains.
She is claiming her place in the history of the sport!
Angel Reese believes the physical play that Caitlin Clark has experienced isn’t new to the WNBA
Just more 👀
“The reason why we’re watching women’s basketball is not just because of 1 person. It’s because of me, too. I want y’all to realize that”

In a press conference, Reese has made it clear that she is part of the reason people care about women’s basketball, why WNBA is huge and they are all getting paid, and one of the reason games are selling out. She brought the Drama and that’s been her role.
When asked about her teammate pushing Clarke in a foul, Reese stood up for the now viral foul because people don’t like seeing Clarke get targeted.

In other news, Women’s Basketball players are treating the games like runway fashion shows and getting paid to promote brands in Glam which you could argue takes away from the game, but it’s Women’s basketball, is there even a game outside of the fashion show portion of the day?
