The NFL is one of the top sports leagues in the world. Many NFL fans consider it the most professional of the big four North American sports leagues, and the argument could be made. Najee Harris will most likely soon be finding out the hard way.

Harris is one of the NFL’s top rushers. The former Alabama running back was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers with the 24th overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, and he would go on to enjoy a decent rookie season.

While Harris may be a very good player, it doesn’t excuse him from following the NFL’s strict guidelines regarding media relations, and recent video shows that he will not enjoy what may come of his recent quote.

After being told that he was “running with some zest” during the Steelers’ 37-15 win over the New York Jets, Harris was seemingly delighted to have been complimented in such a way that he had a hilarious response.

Najee Harris Responds To Reporter Using Profanity

“Oh sh*t, shout to my n***a,” said the Steelers ball carrier in a somewhat hilarious profanity-laced response. However, it wasn’t just the response that had fans laughing, as he was immediately terrified, and the look after he realized what he had done said it all.

One fan joked at the Steelers first-round picks’ expense with a GIF of a police officer standing up with “we got ‘em,” written in bold yellow below. The comment was fittingly captioned Roger Goodell.

One fan even said that we can see the exact moment he goes from laughing about the reporter’s comment to thinking about and realizing the fine he just imposed on himself.

While Harris’ comment may cost him a little bit of money, odds are that it won’t really matter to him due to his nearly $3.3 million annual salary and the Steelers’ solid 5-2 record. And the latter may just get better as the New York Giants will roll into town on Monday Night Football in week eight.
