Marsha Kearney, the mother of Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice, was accused of stealing by a neighbor, and now she is facing the consequences.

Kearney was caught on video appearing to steal a package from the front porch of her neighbor last month.

The package contained Chappell Roan records, so a warrant was issued for the 43-year-old on October 8.

One week later, on October 15, she would turn herself in.

She was charged with one count of mail theft.

On Wednesday, the mother of Rashee Rice got even more embarrassed after TMZ released her mug shot.

The footage, acquired by TMZ, appeared to show a woman wearing a “Mama Rice” Chiefs jersey. She was spotted using her foot to try to slide the package out of the video’s frame.

The woman then picked up the package and walked away.

TMZ reported that the owner of the house had two limited-edition Chappell Roan vinyls from Urban Outfitters stolen.

The neighbor reportedly tried to handle things civilly when they approached Rashee Rice’s mother and their apartment leasing office in an attempt to resolve the issue, but to no avail.

The incident occurred after the Chiefs defeated the Chargers in Los Angeles in Week 4.

That was the same game where Rashee Rice suffered a knee injury while trying to make a tackle following an interception.

Andy Reid Confirms Rashee Rice Surgery, Clarifies Timeline

Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice suffered a knee injury in Sunday’s Week 4 of the 2024 NFL season.

On Monday, October 14, Chiefs head coach Andy Reid provided clarity on Rice’s timeline to return since reports stated he 2024 season would “likely” be over.

“His surgery was not his ACL, it was the posterolateral corner, there was damage there,” Reid said. “It’s probably the same result, though, as you’d get time-wise for an ACL. It takes a while for that to come back. He’ll get into his rehab and get rolling on that as we go here.”
