NFL’s officiating has once again impacted the results of the game with yet another embarrassing blunder.
On the Vikings final drive of the game, they were backed up in their end zone. Sam Darnold dropped back to pass and Rams defensive end Byron Young clearly grabs Darnold’s facemask while pulling him to the ground. There was a referee five feet away from the play and did not throw the flag.
The play resulted in a safety and a 30-20 lead for the Rams.
