Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver George Pickens got away with a hilarious cheap shot on a New York Giants defender during ‘Monday Night Football’ this week.

The Steelers rolled out another victory with Russell Wilson as their starter, with the veteran quarterback now 2-0 following wins against two NY teams, having beaten the Jets on his debut.

Pickens also had a productive outing on the night, making seven catches for 70 receiving yards, though he did not score any touchdowns, at least none that counted as an impressive catch in the end zone was scratched because he got hit before both of his feet could touch the ground within the lines.

The wideout may have been a bit sour, because he was seen hitting a Giants player with a vicious leg drop after New York recovered the ball on a fumble in the fourth quarter.

The above seems like just the sort of play that will get you flagged for unnecessary roughness, but apparently not when you’re George Pickens.

“And no flag lmao,” a fan laughed.

“You know he a @WWE fan,” another surmised.

“🤣🤣🤣 my boy always extra 🤣,” another laughed.

“funniest receiver in the NFL by a mile,” a comment read.

“Thought that was going to be another 15 yards,” someone wrote.

“There is no duo in the league that I want to see play together more than Jameis Winston and George Pickens,” a fan begged.

The Steelers, now 6-2 for the season and leading the pack in the AFC North, will enjoy a bye week before playing the in-form Jayden Daniels and the Washington Commanders on November 10.
