Tom Brady was blindsided by the news that his ex-wife, Gisele Bundchen, is expecting her first child jiu-jitsu pro partner Joaquim Valente.
The supermodel, 44, has been dating Valente, 35, since June 2023 – shortly after her divorce from Brady, 47.
Bundchen announced she was pregnant earlier this week but, according to Page Six, Brady ‘never imagined’ she would have a child with Valente.
It’s claimed that his ex-wife getting pregnant was not ‘on Brady’s radar’, leaving him ‘stunned, to say the least,’ when he found out.
The former quarterback only heard the news a few days ago that Bundchen is ‘five or six’ months pregnant, with the baby due in early 2025.

On Monday, shortly after the story first emerged, Brady posted a cryptic message on social media.
‘Oh, mirror in the sky, what is love?’ Brady wrote on Instagram, alongside a photo of the setting sun.
The words, posted to his story on Monday night, are lyrics from the Fleetwood Mac song ‘Landslide’. The 1975 hit was later covered by The Chicks.
Brady added audio over the story, with users hearing: ‘Oh, mirror in the sky, what is love? Can the child within my heart rise above? Can I sail through the changing ocean tides?’
Tom and Gisele confirmed they were divorcing in October 2022 after 13 years of marriage
By Wednesday, however, it’s claimed Brady had ‘grown used’ to the idea of Bundchen having another baby and is ‘happy’ for his ex-wife, with whom he shares two children – Benjamin, 14, and Vivian, 11. They divorced in October 2022, following a 13-year marriage.
The news broke during a dramatic 24 hours for Brady which saw him slammed for using a ‘slur’ on an NFL broadcast.
Brady found himself in hot water after he was heard using the word ‘spaz’ when discussing Bills quarterback Josh Allen.
‘Sometimes he played like a spaz, like a grade-schooler on a sugar high, but now he’s controlled the chaos,’ Brady said. ‘He’s like a storm coming into town and you don’t want that storm coming into this town.’
