The Houston Texans are 5-2 after they lost a last-second game against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, but it appears that Stefon Diggs may have given them all the motivation to win.
Things got heated early on Sunday at Lambeau Field, and Diggs was in the middle of it.
The Houston Texans’ star wide receiver got into it with Green Bay cornerback Jaire Alexander near the Packers sideline before Sunday’s game, and the two had to be separated after the scuffle escalated.
Multiple officials stepped in to keep what turned into seemingly the entire Packers roster from running Stefon Diggs off the field.
It’s unclear what sparked the incident on the sideline, but Diggs spoke about it after the game.
“I was walking to the locker room at the beginning of the game, and I heard somebody chirping,” Diggs said.
“I’m never the bigger person. I ain’t letting sh-t go.”

The chirping did not help the Texans, as the unit had its worst passing performance of Ryans’ tenure, with a net total of 55 yards.
Stefon Diggs finished with a quiet day, totaling 23 yards on five catches.
Houston Texans Head Coach Demeco Ryans Was Not A Fan of Stefon Diggs Getting Into Altercation With The Packers
Texans wide receiver Stefon Diggs said, “I’m never the bigger person,” regarding his heated pregame scuffle with Green Bay Packers cornerback Jaire Alexander.
Diggs said he was walking to the locker room as the game was getting ready to kick off before he heard “chirping” from Alexander.
He may feel that way, but his head feels different.
Coach DeMeco Ryans would’ve preferred for Diggs to be the bigger person in that situation, saying, “We can’t be about chirping.”

“Things like that happen. Those guys have a history. They’ve been going at it before. We don’t want to encourage that,” Ryans said. “We just want to go play ball the right way and make sure it’s settled on the field.”
Prior to Sunday’s game, the Texans’ first-year receiver had a heated confrontation with Green Bay Packers cornerback Jaire Alexander, but his beef with him should’ve been put on the back burner as the Texans are trying to do big things in 2024.
