DeAndre Hopkins accentuates his first Kansas City Chiefs touchdown with the perfect celebration

Welcome to Arrowhead Stadium DeAndre Hopkins!

The new Chiefs receiver took the field for his first home game as a member of the Kansas City squad, and made an immediate impact.

So much so, that he was the first Chiefs player to make it into the end zone in Monday Night’s primetime game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

And his celebration with always be one to REMEMBER.

For those who need a quick reminder, here’s the infamous dance.

The Chiefs traded to acquire Hopkins from the Tennessee Titans just over two weeks ago. So Hopkins went from playing with a now 2-6 team, to a team that is undefeated.

And his dance could be in reference to everybody that called the receiver “washed” just a few weeks ago while he was a member of the Titans. REMEMBER that?

Because he just proved everyone wrong.

On take same drive, Hopkins had an insane 35-yard catch in double coverage to put the Chiefs on the Buccaneers six yard line.

And just a few short moments later, he was the one who caught it in the end zone to give Kansas City the lead.

It’s clear that Patrick Mahomes has wasted no time targeting the five-time Pro Bowl receiver and is enjoying the newest weapon on the team.

The Chiefs acquiring Hopkins was very scary for everyone else in the league, and they are proving them all right.

A lot more touchdowns are clearly in Hopkins’ future during his time in Kansas City.
