HOT NEWS: The Philadelphia radio host had a blunt criticism for Jason Kelce after the serious incident that left Jason speechless and shocked the world. (SKDA)

Over the weekend former Philadelphia Eagles star Jason Kelce was in Happy Valley for a massive showdown between No. 3 Penn State and No. 4 Ohio State.

Kelce, who joined ESPN part-time for the 2024 NFL season, was on hand as part of the network’s “College GameDay” coverage. He joined former NFL kicker Pat McAfee during the show in an attempt to prove the former All-Pro offensive lineman could kick a field goal in boots.

It didn’t go too well as his kick sailed wide left. His errant kick, though, wasn’t the lasting image from Saturday’s action.

Following the show someone shouted a homophobic slur at the former offensive lineman regarding his brother.  “Kelce, how does it feel that your brother is a [expletive] for dating Taylor Swift?” the person appeared to say, via videos that leaked online.

Kelce turned around, grabbed the person’s phone and then spiked it into the ground. Just a moment later, the person shoved Kelce to the ground before the former NFL star fired back, “Who’s the [expletive] now.”

Kelce received praise from fans for not being bullied by the young individual who called out his brother. However, one Philadelphia radio host believes he should have security to hand issues like this.

“[Jason] has to realize that his profile is bigger than it ever was as a player,” Philadelphia radio host Jon Marks wrote on X showing a video of Kelce’s incident.

“He’s making big $$$ across multiple platforms and his brother might marry the biggest pop star ever. He can’t be spiking people’s phones. He needs security to deal with this [expletive].”

Kelce has not commented on the incident, but did admit that the attention from his brother Travis Kelce’s relationship with Taylor Swift is “a lot.”

“It’s a lot. There’s a lot of people paying attention at all times, which is positive and negative at times,” Jason admitted.

“But I think that she’s built up such a fan base and a contingency and an amount of people that really, really just, like, love her that it’s really cool at the same time.”

We’ll have to wait and see what Kelce says about Saturday’s incident.
