Now, Eilish is one of pop music’s brightest young talents. Aged just twenty-one, she has already been on the scene since 2015, when she released her very first single, titled ‘Ocean Eyes’.
This track marked the beginning of a brilliant partnership with her older brother, Finneas O’Connell, with whom Eilish has worked closely throughout her career. In fact, almost every song in her discography is co-written by her brother!
The song that really propelled Eilish to stardom, however, is undoubtedly 2019’s ‘Bad Guy’. Aged just seventeen at the time, Eilish’s song topped the Billboard Hot 100, and went on to win both Song and Record of the Year at the 2020 Grammy Awards.
That same year, she also won Best New Artist and her album, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?, also won Album of the Year.
