Mike Tyson and Jake Paul have both been suspended following their Netflix fight.

On 15 November, the YouTuber. 27, fought boxing legend, Mike Tyson, 58, and won.

Tyson had the upper hand at the beginning of the fight but fatigue quickly caused some issues, causing Paul to take the upper hand.

Since the fight, it has been announced that both boxers have been suspended from the sport temporarily.

The match took place in Dallas and under Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation – the board put in a place a condition that both athletes would be suspended for a minimum of 7 days. However, it may be a little longer for both of them.

The guidance stated that each athlete should rest for three days for each round they fought.

The fight lasted eight rounds, meaning that both boxers will be suspended for 24 days.

The board regulation stated: “Medical disqualification of a contestant is for their own safety and may be made at the recommendation of the examining physician or TDLR.

“A contestant who disagrees with a medical disqualification, medical suspension, or rest period set at the discretion of a ringside physician or a disqualification or suspension set by the department may request a hearing to show proof of fitness.”

Its been reported that Paul received around $40 million for the fight and the 58-year-old was paid $20 million.
