ESPN couldn’t help but take a priceless shot at Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones during ‘Monday Night Football against the Houston Texans.

Jerry Jones’ Cowboys hit rock bottom (again) on Monday night, losing 34-10 to their in-state Texas rivals. After winning 16 straight home games from 2022 to 2023, Dallas has now lost six in a row at Jerry World dating back to last season’s Wild Card Round loss at the hands of the Green Bay Packers.

As if things couldn’t get worse for Jones and “America’s Team,” ESPN took a ruthless shot at the polarizing Cowboys owner during their broadcast of ‘MNF.’ If you’ve paid attention to Dallas, you probably know that Jones has been under fire for refusing to put up curtains to block out the sun at AT&T Stadium.

ESPN poked fun at Jerry Jones and the team’s struggles at home by showing an animated graphic of curtains “closing” to block out the glaring sunlight in a Dallas Cowboys-themed bedroom.

And play-by-play voice Joe Buck was sure to reference the “curtains” in the background:

Worth mentioning that the curtains at AT&T Stadium were up for the Mike Tyson-Jake Paul boxing fight last Friday. And yet, Jones can’t be bothered to follow suit even if the sun affects his players on the field.

Jerry Jones Needs To Make Significant Changes

The best news for Cowboys fans would be for Jones to remove himself from the GM chair. That won’t happen, but he’s going to have to change his coaching staff and actually commit to making win-now moves if his team is to bounce back in 2025.
