A video claiming to have proof of Mike Tyson purposely holding back during his fight with Jake Paul has surfaced online following Friday’s mega event.

Tyson, 58, squared off with the much younger Paul on the night, finally presenting fans the fight they had been waiting for all year.

Unfortunately, however, the bout proved to be underwhelming, with both combatants putting on a tepid show that suggested they were not ready to leave it all in the ring. Paul even admitted to taking his foot off the gas after the fight.

A clip has since gone into circulation showing specific points where Tyson appeared to either hold back or fail to dodge a punch. It also mentions his curious glove-biting throughout the contest.

Check it out below:

“Sad how fake America has become,” a comment read.

“better question – what’s not rigged at this point?” someone asked.

“I believe it was rigged. Once Tyson said in that interview that he didn’t care about his legacy, that told me all I needed to know,” a user added.

“Mike could have finished him in the 1st not a problem. Take a look at his sparing vids a few days before this fight. Night and day here,” another claimed.

“Was obvious. Stopped punching after first round,” someone suggested.

Mike Tyson Theory Hit By X’s Community Notes

X’s community notes have checked the clip above. It points out that the moment Tyson is accused of being told to take it easy came just a few seconds into the fight and that the veteran’s best moments actually occured after it.

“The timeline of events presented in this video are inaccurate. The alleged “message received” tap happened just 17 seconds into the fight,” it reads.

“The video falsely claims Tyson’s strongest blows happened before this, but they happen after the 17 second mark, disproving the theory.”

Tyson, though, is $20 million richer for his trouble. And, apparently, he’s not done yet.
