The New York Jets are making yet another change and a tough year.
Jets GM Joe Douglas is in need of another job after the team decided to fire him on Tuesday.
The Jets fired the general manager just days after falling to 3-8 following a loss to the Colts.
Douglas went 30-64 in his six seasons as the franchise’s top executives.
New York Jets owner Woody Johnson has now fired Douglas and head coach Robert Saleh during this disaster of a year.
Douglas’s contract with the Jets was going to end after this season, but things have been so bad that the owner couldn’t wait a few more weeks.
Douglas may have already seen his exit coming, which is why a uStadium previously reported he was already shopping for homes in the Baltimore area.
That was already leading to speculation that he might be headed to the Baltimore Ravens.
Until something concrete happens, he will remain a former employee of the New York Jets.
The 2024 NFL Season Is An Abstract Failure For The New York Jets
The New York Jets are continuing to make front office changes after ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that they have fired general manager Joe Douglas.
The Jets have not had a winning season since they hired him.
The team had Super Bowl expectations coming into this year with a healthy Aaron Rodgers, and now all roads lead to them not even making it to the playoffs.
