Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are approaching the one-year mark in their relationship.
While all appears to be well on the surface of the relationship, there’s reportedly one notable issue sizzling underneath.
According to a report, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end isn’t loving the “pressure” to propose from Swift’s family. Kelce is reportedly not loving the urge to propose.
“The constant questioning from friends and family is starting to really get them down,” a source told Life & Style.
“Not a day goes by they don’t get hit with gentle hints and questions. The social media and fan chatter about an engagement is bad enough, but he also gets questions from friends, and the more he’s pressured, the more he withdraws.”
However, they are both reportedly open to the idea.
“The timing is right,” the insider said. “They’ve been together almost a year now and they’re madly in love, so it makes sense that they’d be discussing marriage.”
It’s their relationship, so at the end of the day, they should be on whatever timeline they want.
Good luck not focusing on the outside noise, though. There’s so much of it for Travis and Taylor right now.
Travis Kelce’s family ‘a little worried’ for his safety with Taylor Swift due to how intense Swifties have been since they started dating – with the attention leaving them ‘overwhelmed’
Travis Kelce‘s family are reportedly ‘a little worried’ for Travis Kelce’s safety due to the intensity of Taylor Swift‘s fans
A TMZ report says the Kelce family, while happy for Travis, have been feeling overwhelmed by the extra fame and publicity since the NFL star started dating Swift.
And the report adds that the deep love some of Swift’s fans have for her have even got them concerned for his safety, and left them ‘a bit startled’.
Kelce’s family are one of the most famous in football – his brother Jason plays for the Philadelphia Eagles and his parents, especially mom Donna, often split duties in cheering the two brothers on. At this year’s Super Bowl, the Chiefs played the Eagles and Donna went viral for wearing a 50-50 jersey of both teams to support her boys.
But their profile has spiraled over the course of the last month with Kelce dating Swift, one of the most famous stars in the world.

TMZ say the family are happy for Travis but it is taking time for them to adjust to the attention.
Swift has met Kelce’s parents – the first time she watched him play in Kansas City, she was in a suite with Donna and has since been pictured with Ed, the father.
Up to now, they Kelce family have appeared to try and take the new-found fame on the chin and haven’t closed off too much from talking about Swift.
Jason said the new-found attention is strange to him, telling NBC Sports last week: ‘It’s certainly been weird, the level that it is now.
‘On one hand, I’m happy for my brother that he seems to be in a relationship that he’s excited about, that he is genuine about. But there’s another end of it where it’s like, “Man, this is a lot”.
‘So, on one hand, [I’m] really, really happy for my brother and where he’s at in his current situation with Taylor. But on the other hand, there’s some, I think, alarms sometimes with how you know, over-in-pursuit people can be.’
Swift features occasionally as a talking point on Kelce’s ‘New Heights’ podcast which he hosts with brother Jason and Donna has spoken about her before. Ed does not regularly speak to media – which was the case before Swift came onto the scene.
But the Kelce brothers joked on New Heights that seeing their dad talking to Swift at a recent game made them nervous.
Jason said on the podcast: ‘If you were watching the game, you saw something momentous happen — which was Taylor Swift talking to Ed Kelce.’
Travis said with a laugh: ‘This is a terrifying conversation. I felt terrible for Taylor.’
The brothers joked that their dad has a flamboyant personality and couldn’t be sure what he would say to Swift, but Travis quickly clarified that he and Jason have ‘the best f***ing dad in the world’.
Fortunately for the Kelces, the hype could be about to cool somewhat with Swift not expected to be at a Chiefs game for another month or so.
She skipped Sunday’s game in Denver to focus on her upcoming Eras tour dates in Brazil in Argentina, which will see her on the road for nearly all of November.
The next Chiefs game at Arrowhead Stadium that she can feasibly attend is on December 10, against Buffalo Bills.
