Maria Sharapova is looking like we’ve never seen her before.
The former Tennis champion is in an uproar on social media after an old picture showed her donning a two-piece blue bikini while seemingly on vacation.
Sharapova, who competed on the WTA Tour from 2001 to 2020 and was ranked world No. 1 in singles by the Women’s Tennis Association for 21 weeks, had every curve on her body poking out as she held a drink in her hand, and she smiled at someone who was off camera.
More than 5.4 million people have seen the dynamic picture as almost 2,000 people have retweeted it, 69,000 have liked it, and more than 1,500 have commented.

Maria Sharapova Was Once Suspended For Years Over Doping Test
Maria Sharapova retired from tennis in 2020, but before that, she was embroiled in a major scandal.
The five-time Grand Slam winner was suspended for two years by the International Tennis Federation in 2016 for testing positive for the banned substance meldonium.
The ruling by an independent three-person panel stated at the time that Sharapova did not intend to cheat but bore “sole responsibility” and “very significant fault” for the positive test.
Sharapova admitted to taking the drug since 2006 but was unaware it was put on the banned list at the start of 2016.
Months later, Maria Sharapova got good news as her suspension was reduced to 15 months, per ESPN.
