On Sunday, the Chicago Bears are hosting the Minnesota Vikings, and it’s been a very tight game. The best play has come from Chicago safety Jonathan Owens, who stripped the ball from Aaron Jones and recovered it on the one-year line.
Of course, the amazing play was featured on “RedZone,” where host Scott Hanson was there to narrate the play.
However, he pulled out the funniest line after calling Owens “Mr. Simone Biles.” It got some great reactions from many different social media users.
Of course, though, when you’re married to one of the best Olympians of all time, it’s hard for people not to mention it.
Jonathan Owens Has Been Solid For The Bears
When the Bears first signed Owens, it was seen as more of a depth signing who could occasionally sub in, and he’s thrived in that spot.
So far, in his limited snaps, he has returned a touchdown after a blocked punt against the Tennessee Titans and now this huge forced fumble and recovery, which negated what would have likely been a touchdown for the Vikings.
He’s making the two-year $1.175 million contract from Chicago worth it.
