Of those 11, two play in the secondary, and Adams could directly fill in for safety Ifeatu Melifonwu was put on the IR Now. 18 but is expected to return in Week 16.

Jamal Adam’s best Years Are Probably Behind Him

Adams broke out onto the scene in his second year with the New York Jets after being the No. 6 pick in the 2017 NFL Draft.

From 2018 to 2020, he recorded three straight Pro Bowl years, one of which he was named First-Team All-Pro.

However, he hasn’t earned another award since then and has bounced around between the Seahawks, Titans, and now Lions.

He has played in only 13 games in the last three years, recording zero interceptions and three pass deflections.
