The Houston Texans are one of the best up and coming teams in the NFL. Led by their star quarterback in CJ Stroud, the team is set to be a AFC powerhouse in no time, and Nick Caserio has done insane work building his team.
The Texans took on the Jacksonville Jaguars during Sunday Night Football, and they were able to get the win by a score of 23 to 20. The Jaguars would unfortunately fall to 2-10 while the Texans improved to 8-5 on the season.
The game was a very competitive game, however it was overshadowed by an extremely horrible play that knocked Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence out of the game. The culprit was linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair, who has recently been suspended three games.
Al-Shaair made a comment on the hit following the game claiming that he did not intend to hit the defenseless signal caller, and he apologized for the move. After everything was said and done, Texans general manager Nick Caserio was not happy with NFL’s decision to suspend him.

Nick ripped the league for their inconsistencies.

Texans GM Nick Caserio Calls NFL’s Decision “Bullsh*t”
Caserio was in full defense mode when talking to the media about the NFL decision made on Al-Shaair, and he evidently wasn’t happy. “The picture that’s been painted about Azeez, his intentions, who he is as a person… quite frankly, it’s bullsh*t,” Caserio told the media.

Caserio joined the Texans in 2021, where he would become the fifth general manager in the franchises history. He would bring Al-Shaair this past off-season after spending time with both the 49ers and Titans from 2019 to 2023.
While it’s clear that Nick Caserio saw something in Azeez Al-Shaair, the reality is that he was suspended for three games by the NFL, and there’s nothing that can be done about that. The Houston Texans will be back in action December 15th against the Dolphins.
