Some users on social media aren’t buying the latest image of the unidentified suspect involved in the killing of United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson as they have noticed something odd about it.

Thompson was gunned down in broad daylight on Wednesday, with an unknown assailant approaching him and shooting him in the back multiple times.

The incident was caught on camera, as Thompson was seen trying to flee on foot after the first round was fired but eventually collapsing while the shooter kept pulling the trigger. Police have since released an image of the suspect, which you can see in the post below:

As noted above, social media isn’t buying this, with many users pointing out the differences in clothing in the photos above.

“So we’re just posting pictures of people in jackets and hoodies?” someone asked.

“Different backpack, different jacket….only a $10k reward lol.  What a joke,” another wrote.

“It looks like two separate people,” a third observed.

“Doesn’t look like the same build. The guy that shot the ceo, looks like the j5 pipe bomb suspect that the @FBI forgot about,” said a fourth.

“Not the same person, jacket, or backpack. Pretending to have an investigation,” a user declared

“That is a different bag pack than the one from the video of the shooting. This is the wrong guy omg,” someone added.

“Different jacket and back pack from the previous picture,” another agreed.

“Not the same guy..Don’t even waste ur time..Shooter was carrying a grey bag, not a black one,” someone else noted.

While the NYPD hasn’t made claims of the photos being from the same day, users simply don’t believe the men in the photos are the same person.
