It definitely wasn’t too soon for folks to start dropping jokes online after the suspect arrested in connection with the sh–ting death of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson was named in reports on Monday.
The manhunt for the suspect caught on camera m-rdering Thompson in broad daylight last week could be over as police have reportedly fingered one Luigi Mangione as a person of interest amid investigations, having nabbed him at a McDonald’s in Pennsylvania.
According to reports, Mangione was caught using the same fake ID he used at a New York hostel on the day of the shooting.
“Tech whiz Luigi Mangione, 26, of Towson, Md., was taken into custody Monday morning at a McDonald’s in Altoona, Pa., after an intense manhunt following the coldblooded execution of Thompson outside a Manhattan hotel last week, sources said. He has not been charged,” the New York Post reported on Monday.

The NY Post added that Mangione is an “anti-capitalist former Ivy League student” who liked quotes from Ted Kaczynski, the “Unabomber,” trashing the medical community.
It’s reported that he was caught with a manifesto appearing to list issues pertaining to the healthcare industry, including its generation of exorbitant sums and underhanded practices.
As mentioned above, he has not been charged with a crime and remains a person of interest.
