Peyton and Eli are doing their ‘ManningCast’ for Monday Night Football, and John Legend was one of the guests.
Week 14’s “Monday Night Football” matchup is between the Bengals and the Cowboys, and this marks the last night of ESPN’s double coverage of the NFL.
A legend in the music industry, Legend, came on to talk about some football, but fans tuning in wanted to hear nothing from him.
Many fans took to X, formerly Twitter, and either blasted the show for having him on or blasted the singer.
“Legend the worst guest manningcast has ever had.” one fan stated.
“Not interested at all seeing John Legend on #ManningCast,” one fan said.
“John legend on the Manning cast?!! GTFOH with that asshole. Will be going back to the regular ESPN broadcast until that clown is gone ,” another fan added.
“John Legend? Seriously? #ManningCast GTFO,” one upset fan stated.
One fan stated he was done watching the show period because of the singer, saying, “After watching John Legend on Manningcast tonight I have come to the decision not to watch them again.”
Another X user wanted Eli Manning to ask Legend a question, “Eli ask John Legend about the P Diddy parties.”
One final fan stated, “Really wish John Legend wasn’t on the Manning Cast tonight.”
Why Are Fans Disliking John Legend So Much?
John Legend and Chrissy Teigen are public enemy number one when it comes to social media.
This was once a couple known as ‘relationship goals,’ as they became known for their openness to discussing intimate moments.
Things changed when hip-hop mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was arrested. Legend was on Diddy’s last album, and they seemed to be very good friends. Naturally, many assumed he might be on one of the many tapes from his infamous freak-offs.
Not to mention, social media remembered that Chrissy Teigen revealed years ago that she and Legend had sex in public at ‘that Obama thing.’ She stated it was at the Democratic National Convention.
That type of boldness made people think they might be into some freaky things like Diddy.
Until we find out who is on those tapes, anybody associated with Diddy will be considered a suspect.
