The Miami Dolphins have offered an update on Grant DuBose’s status following his worrying injury.
The wide receiver sustained a scary hit during Miami’s loss to the Houston Texans on Sunday and had the entire stadium worried after medics cut his jersey off to strap him to a stretcher during a lengthy delay following the hefty tackle.
DuBose spent the night at a Houston hospital for tests after the worrying collision. The Dolphins have revealed his results were positive and he is able to move normally, though he will remain at the facility for further observation.
“After sustaining a head injury in yesterday’s game, Grant DuBose remained at a local Houston hospital for evaluation overnight. He has movement in all extremities and initial tests have revealed positive results,” the team announced. “He remains under the care of doctors for continued observation.”
