Pat McAfee praised Travis Kelce for joining his pop star girlfriend, Taylor Swift, on stage in London during her Eras Tour Sunday night.
In a now-viral moment, the Chiefs star was seen performing alongside Swift’s backup dancers during an interlude between songs from her new album, The Tortured Poets Department.
The controversial ESPN pundit called the move chivalrous, and claimed none of the singer’s ex-boyfriends would have been willing to pull the same stunt.
‘Once again…I can’t help but feel a phenomenal sense of pride,’ he wrote on X.
‘None of the other bums Taylor has been with would ever be this prepared and poised in front of 90,000 people while wearing that costume,’ he went on referencing the tuxedo and top hat Kelce donned while on stage at Wembley Stadium.
‘A football man proving to the world that chivalry is not dead.. and you’re allowed to be pumped to support your partner.’
Kelce and Swift began dating last summer after he attended her Eras Tour show in Kansas City.
When they made their romance public that September, fans were quick to point out that the all-American, three-time Super Bowl champ was quite a change from her previous partners, like British actors Joe Alwyn and Tom Hiddleston.
The 14-time Grammy winner has also romanced the likes of Joe Jonas, Taylor Lautner, Matty Healy, Calvin Harris and Harry Styles.
She and Alwyn, who split in early 2023, were notorious for keeping details about their relationship under wraps.
As McAfee pointed out, it’s a far cry from Kelce’s appearance on the big screen at Wembley over the weekend.
Fans were sent into a frenzy when the tight end emerged wearing a white bow tie and tailcoat to help his girlfriend with a costume change before the song I Can Do It With a Broken Heart.
He even picked Swift up, fanned her and powdered her face as part of the act, before she blew him a kiss.
The songstress also ‘hard-launched’ their relationship on social media Friday night by posting an adorable photo of the pair posing with the Prince of Wales and his two children – Prince George and Princess Charlotte – who attended her show.
