Billie Eilish lost 100,000 followers an hour after posting an x-rated photo on Instagram.
The 22-year-old singer shot to fame after releasing her hit song, Ocean Eyes in 2015.
Today, she is one of the biggest stars of our time with a following of 121 million on the app.
However, in 2021 while promoting her album, ‘Happier Than Ever’, she was photographed with new blonde locks and wearing a corset.
Her fans were not impressed with the new look. One said: “I used to love Billie until she changed.”
Another added: “Bring back the green hair!”
“Not a role model anymore,” said a third.
Billie decided to hit back at haters. Speaking to CBS, she said: “I spent the first 5 years of my career getting absolutely obliterated by you fools for being boyish and dressing how I did and constantly being told I’d be hotter if I acted like a woman.
“And now when I feel comfortable enough to wear anything remotely feminine or fitting, I changed and am a sellout.”
“I can be both.”
This isn’t the only time the singer has stood up to haters.
Back in 2020, the star took part in the ‘post a picture’ trend on social media where the then 19-year-old shared a photo of her sketchbook, which contained drawings of nude women.
After the post, Billie’s account went from 73 million followers to 72.9 million.
In response to the drastic drop in followers, the star said “LMFAOOO y’all babies smh.”
