Former New England Patriots star linebacker and ex-Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel dropped a hint about which team he’ll join next with interesting social media activity.

In a surprise move, Mike Vrabel was let go by the Titans last year after six seasons. The 2021 Coach of the Year led Tennessee to four winning seasons, two AFC South division crowns and a 2019 AFC Championship Game appearance.

The Jets, who are sure to replace interim HC Jeff Ulbrich after their regular season concludes, interviewed Vrabel for their head coaching vacancy earlier this week. Vrabel is sure to land multiple interviews, with anywhere from five to eight teams likely seeking a new HC.

NFL fans think that Mike Vrabel tipped his hand about which team he’ll coach next after discovering some fascinating social media activity. More specifically, Vrabel recently changed his X/Twitter profile picture to an old Patriots photo of himself with Tedy Bruschi:

There have been calls from Patriots fans for owner Robert Kraft to fire head coach Jerod Mayo. The “Fire Mayo” chants grew loud during last week’s 40-7 home loss at the hands of the Los Angeles Chargers.

It’s unclear if Kraft is leaning toward a coaching change, but a loss to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday would clinch the Patriots’ worst record since the 1992 team that went 2-14.

Mike Vrabel Is A Patriots Legend

Vrabel played for the Patriots from 2001 to 2008, playing a key role on their first three Super Bowl championship-winning teams. He was also named a Pro Bowler and First-team All-Pro in 2007, the year the Patriots nearly completed the perfect 19-0 season.

The 49-year-old Vrabel is also a member of the Patriots’ Hall of Fame and was named to their 50th Anniversary, All-2000s and All-Dynasty teams.
