The Antonio Pierce era is over in Las Vegas – just one year after it started.
The former Raiders linebacker took over as interim head coach after taking over for Josh McDaniels midway through the 2023 season. After coaching Vegas to a 5-4 record that included a win on Christmas over the Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead, Pierce earned the support of the fans, players and organization, who rewarded him with a contract as their next head coach.
But one year later, Pierce is already out after a dismal 4-13 season in his first full year.
