Social media detectives uncovered evidence suggesting that a Green Bay Packers fan intentionally set up a verbal altercation involving his fiancée and a Philadelphia Eagles fan at Sunday’s playoff game.
A viral video has emerged of a moronic and cowardly Philadelphia Eagles fan verbally abusing and harassing a female Green Bay Packers supporter at Lincoln Financial Field during their Wild Card Round playoff game. Philly emerged victorious 22-10 to reach the Divisional Round, where they’ll meet the Los Angeles Rams.
Alexander Basara is the Packers fan who filmed the incident. Basara is a Packers content creator who attended the game with his fiancée .
The video shows the female Packers fan doing a mini celebration dance after the officials announced a ruling. The Eagles fan behind the woman started insulting her for no reason and used a disgusting and derogatory term.
The Philadelphia Eagles fan then told Basara to “Shut the f**K up…turn around…watch the game.”
However, social media detectives have done some homework and think there’s a twist to this story: That Basara was looking for beef with a Philadelphia Eagles fan(s) all along for the purpose of creating content.
Let’s just say this, Basara’s GoFundMe page description is certainly suspicious:
Regardless, this doesn’t at all excuse the pathetic and embarrassing behavior of that Philadelphia Eagles fan. The good news is that he got exactly what he deserved after being identified.
Moronic Philadelphia Eagles Fan Has Been Hit Hard By Karma
Per NBC News, the Eagles announced that the verbally abusive fan in the video has received a permanent ban from Lincoln Financial Field. A source told the outlet that the man “will not be permitted to attend any future events at Lincoln Financial Field.”
BCT Partners, the man’s employer, also announced in an X statement that they’re investigating the matter and apologized to those affected by his behavior.
Congrats to this Eagles “fan” for making an idiot out of himself. Hope he enjoys the unemployment line and the permanent ban from Eagles home games.
