Football fans are furious and losing their minds after a bizarre ending to the Baltimore Ravens–Buffalo Bills Divisional Round game that featured a brutal mistake by Mark Andrews.
Trailing by eight points with 1:33 to go, Lamar Jackson found Isaiah Likely in the end zone for a 24-yard touchdown. But on the ensuing two-point conversion attempt, Mark Andrews put the cherry on top of a bad day by dropping a gimme of a pass from Jackson:
On the Ravens’ previous possession, Andrews coughed up the fumble in Buffalo territory that stalled a promising drive with the Ravens down five:
So as you could guess, disgruntled fans are suggesting that Andrews mistakes were all part of a script, and that the game was rigged.
“WWE NFL 🤡…. Mark Andrews in the locker room counting his reward for blatant crimes against humanity 🤡 #NFLRigged,” one fan wrote.
“So Mark Andrews working for the books? Got it 🤣🤣🤣🤣,” wrote another.
“Lmfaoooooooo it was the script. Check Mark Andrews Bank acct for mysterious transactions,” said a fan.
“Mark Andrews cost us that game not once but twice smh same script Mahomes is going to win it again,” another wrote.
“Mark Andrews got paid- fixed game,” claimed one fan.
“NFL script is crazy ! No way Mark Andrews sells out like this!,” a fan said.
Andrews caught five passes for 61 yards in the contest, but folks are only going to remember his two gut-wrenching miscues that proved costly.
Mark Andrews Can’t Take All The Blame
It’s easy to point the finger at Andrews, but the Ravens lost this game as a team. Their stingy defense allowed 147 rushing yards and three touchdowns, not to mention Jackson’s careless first quarter interception or lost fumble that led to Buffalo’s second touchdown of the game.
