VIDEO: New Footage From 101 Constitution Camera Shows The Exact Moment When Flight AA5342 Tragically Collided With Black Hawk Helicopter Over Potomac River

A video from the 101 Constitution camera shows another angle of the exact moment Flight AA5342 collided with a helicopter on Wednesday night.

The American Airlines passenger flight, which was carrying 60 passengers and four crew members, went down after hitting a U.S. Army Black Hawk over the Ronald Reagan National Airport.

According to officials, the helicopter flew into the airline’s flight path while it was landing at the airport. They do not believe anyone survived the crash.

The video below shows the view from the 101 Constitution camera and the explosion caused on impact.

Flight AA5342 Crash Could Be The Deadliest In Over Two Decades

Dozens of bodies have been pulled from the water as search and rescue operations remain underway in the cold Potomac River.

The plane’s fuselage was broken into three parts in the shallow river water, where it was found upside down, with wreckage from the helicopter also located.
