United States President Donald Trump has shared a simple theory on Wednesday night’s horrific events following the fatal collision between an American Airlines flight and a military Black Hawk helicopter near the Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport.

The crash claimed the lives of 67 people and has prompted many questions.

Trump, who returned to office earlier this month, believes he has the answer as he is blaming the soldiers who were on the helicopter with claims that they were flying way higher than the 200-foot limit.

“The Blackhawk helicopter was flying too high, by a lot. It was far above the 200 foot limit,” he posted to his social media platform, Truth Social, early Friday morning. “That’s not really too complicated to understand, is it???”

Donald Trump Took A Swing At The Former Secretary Of Transportation

Trump has also attacked former Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg, accusing him of destroying the Federal Aviation Administration because of his commitment to diversity.

“Well, he runs it, 45,000 people, and he’s run it right into the ground with his diversity,” the President said on Thursday. “So I had to say that it’s terrible.”

He added:

“Then it says ‘FAA says, people with severe disabilities are most underrepresented segment of the workforce, and they want them in, and they want them, they can be air traffic controllers.’ I don’t think so.”

The crash is still being investigated.
