President Donald Trump plans to attend Sunday’s Super Bowl 59 in New Orleans, becoming the first sitting commander-in-chief to attend the big game, according to NBC.
The President being in attendance will only lead to another level of heightened security, with the game taking place in the same city as the recent terrorist attack 39 days ago.
Trump also is recording an interview with Fox News host Bret Baier, which will air on the Fox network’s pregame show at 3 p.m. ahead of the 6:30 p.m. kickoff between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs.
