Cameras caught Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts wearing banned cleats for Super Bowl 59 against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Hurts and the Eagles are in the Super Bowl for the second time in three years, looking to avenge their heartbreaking Super Bowl 57 loss to the Chiefs. And it appears that Hurts isn’t the least bit worried about a fine coming his way.
As noted by Front Office Sports, Hurts is wearing Air Jordan 1 cleats for the Super Bowl against Kansas City. League rules outline that teams must wear black, white or official team color cleats:
NFL players must wear cleats that are black, white, or an official team color.
Jalen Hurts has been fined already this season for wearing mismatched Jordan cleats.

Hey, as long as Hurts feel good and confident about his appearance in the second-biggest game of his life, what’s a fine worth thousands of dollars?
Jalen Hurts Looks To Avenge SB 57 Loss
Hurts had one of the greatest Super Bowl performances ever in the Eagles’ 38-35 loss to the Chiefs two years ago. If it weren’t for a questionable holding call against James Bradberry in that game, Hurts and company could be vying for their second title in three years.
But if the Eagles can pull it off tonight, all the pain from that loss two years ago will be gone.
