Social media detectives have uncovered evidence suggesting that Tom Brady is responsible for the Kansas City Chiefs’ two Super Bowl losses in the Patrick Mahomes-Andy Reid era.

On Sunday, the Chiefs’ three-peat bid ended with an ugly 40-22 blowout loss at the hands of the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl 59. Mahomes was sacked six times and threw two interceptions, including a pick-six to Cooper DeJean, in the lopsided defeat.

It just so happens that former NFL quarterback Tom Brady was in the broadcast booth to call the game with Fox Sports colleague Kevin Burkhardt. The Chiefs’ humiliating loss came four years after the Brady-led Tampa Bay Buccaneers beat Kansas City 31-9 in Super Bowl 55.

Since the seven-time Super Bowl champion has been involved in both Chiefs’ Super Bowl losses, social media detectives are pointing the finger at Brady:

The good news for the Chiefs? Fox won’t be airing the Super Bowl next year, so Brady can’t jinx them if they reach the big game.

Tom Brady Wraps Up First Year In Broadcast Booth With A Bang

Brady’s first year as an NFL analyst started out rocky, but the three-time league MVP noticeably improved as the season went on. Brady did an excellent job analyzing the Super Bowl with Kevin Burkhardt, and his second season in the booth should be even better.
