Kendrick Lamar was overt in his disdain for Drake during Sunday night’s Super Bowl halftime show but is also believed to have taken a subtle shot at his rival that probably went over viewers’ heads.

The Compton rapper wore an “a minor” pendant throughout the performance and made it clear that he was coming after Drake when he belted out the popular “Not Like Us” diss track. As if that wasn’t enough, he referenced him by name as he doubled down on his pedophilia claims.

Folks also noticed that Kendrick had his stage set up like the buttons of a Sony PlayStation controller.

Did Kendrick Lamar Signal That It Was “Game Over” For Drake?

The artist shut things down at the end by repeatedly saying, “Turn this TV off,” before gesturing as if he was holding a remote before all the lights went out except for a faint grouping forming the words “GAME OVER.”

“I think the was symbolic, his way to reach young people,” the show’s art director, Shelley Rodgers, said in an interview with Wired. “A lot of it is showing his journey, traveling through the American dream.”
