Roc Nation enjoyed another successful Super Bowl halftime show on Sunday night, though not as much as they did last year.

Kendrick Lamar headlined the event, bringing the likes of Samuel L. Jackson, SZA, and Serena Williams along, and he dropped a song that many people were hoping he wouldn’t. The Compton rapper’s “Not Like Us” Drake diss was the highlight of his performance, and while some held out hope of him skipping it, there were also plenty looking forward to it.

Roc Nation has since announced that the show broke viewership records, having gotten 133.5 million to tune in. But they made the same announcement after Usher’s performance in 2024, revealing that 202.4 million people watched.

While this year’s show brought well over 60 million fewer, they’re still claiming to have broken the record. You can check out their two graphics below…

Okay, Maybe Roc Nation Actually Wasn’t Lying About The Numbers This Year’s Super Bowl Halftime Show

It appears that the organizers were truthful about the numbers, as the 202.4 million noted above was for the game itself.
