Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley will make sure his offensive lineman stay “hydrated” during the team’s Super Bowl LIX parade on Friday by gifting each one of his lineman a literal truckload of Bud Light, giving each one their own truck of beer.
In Barkley’s first season in Philadelphia, he ran for over 2,000 yards and was an intricate part in the Eagles run to Super Bowl LIX. Throughout all the success, Barkley has been first to credit his lineman for enabling him to run for all this yards. And now he’s rewarding them for their hard work with this sweet gift.
Bud Light will also be temporarily rebranding for the parade, reinventing itself as “Bird Light” in honor of the Eagles’ championship. The parade is set to kick off at around 11 a.m. from the team’s home at Lincoln Financial Field. The championship ceremony will begin a few hours later at 2 p.m. and the festivities will conclude at approximately 3:15 p.m. ET.
