The Eagles and Chiefs are the last two Super Bowl champions, and their fan bases came out to represent their respective parades.

Over 1 million people were expected in Philadelphia to celebrate the Super Bowl LIX victory over Kansas City.

The pictures and videos from the event certainly proved it.

In 2024, the Kansas City Chiefs had around the same amount show up after they defeated the 49ers in Super Bowl LVII.

On social media, an Eagles fan posted two pictures that showed that Philadephia showed up much more than Kansas City.

“Thats cuz philly we got South Jersey, delaware, people from other cities & countries that came to the parade. A couple even flew from Australia for the parade lol,” one fan said.

“Why the hell are you fools still going on about KC. When we won we weren’t attacking George Kittle and hanging Brock Purdy in effigy. We were celebrating our achievements & looking forward to the next season. Just imagine having such a fragile ego you start posting misleading images online. You’re behaving like a Tabloid – Pathetic. I had no idea you were such a weak ass group. Actual KC Parade picture 🤦,” another fan added.

“Hmmm I wonder why you chose the early pre rally picture and not the picture from when the rally was actually happening,” another fan commented.

“Both of these were reported to have around 1 million people in attendance, so really about the same,” another fan stated.

“I actually don’t disagree the Eagles’ fan base passion is virtually unrivaled. But the picture you used to compare KC isn’t honest. That picture is from well before the parade began. The Philly picture is after the parade with the team on stage for the ceremony at the Art Museum. Not comparable scenarios. Also, literal population size is a thing,” one final fan added.

Both Eagles And Chiefs Parade Had Gun Fire Erupt

A sad Patrick Mahomes and happy Jalen Hurts appear in front of the Philadelphia Art Museum hours before a parade is expected to arrive celebrating the Philadelphia Eagles’ Super Bowl win, Friday, Feb. 14, 2025.

The last two Super Bowl parades have featured terrible incidents regarding guns.

Twenty-two people were hit by gunfire in a shooting at the end of the parade to celebrate the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl win in 2024. The mass shooting appeared to stem from a dispute, according to police.

Unfortunately, one person would also lose their life as a result of that incident. The shooting happened outside Union Station in Kansas City at the conclusion of a celebration for the Chiefs’ Super Bowl win Sunday over the San Francisco 49ers.

Fast forward one year and another instance of gun violence kicked off.

Two women were shot along Philadelphia’s Ben Franklin Parkway while crowds gathered to celebrate the Super Bowl LIX victory parade last week.

It’s unclear what led up to the shooting at the Eagles parade, and no suspects have been found.
