A former Miami Dolphins running back has passed away.

Multiple reports indicate that Eddie Hill, who played 75 NFL games across six seasons, is dead at 67, having taken his final breath this past Sunday.

Hill was selected out of Memphis by the Los Angeles Rams in the second round of the 1979 NFL Draft and played for the team for two years before a trade to the Dolphins. He spent the remaining four years of his career in Miami.

He rushed for 443 yards and two touchdowns on 120 carries for his career.
