The Philadelphia Eagles have received a wave of praise and criticism over whether they may or may not visit Donald Trump at the White House.

The U.S. Sun kicked off this entire issue by publishing an article asserting that the Eagles would not be accepting a potential White House invitation following their win in Super Bowl LIX, citing “a well-placed insider” calling it a “massive no.”

It turns out they were wrong.

It turns out that the report about the Philadelphia Eagles was initially published days before the Super Bowl was set to be played.

Adam Schefter of ESPN made it clear through his sources that the Eagles will indeed visit the White House this offseason as they look forward “to receiving its invitation.”

An Eagles source allegedly told the US Sun earlier this month that the team plans to snub an invitation to the White House.
