Could President Donald Trump become the first living person on U.S. currency?
South Carolina Congressman Joe Wilson is certainly trying to make that happen. He announced this week that he is working on legislation that would direct the U.S. Bureau of Engraving and Printing to design a $250 bill featuring President Trump.
“Most valuable bill for most valuable President!” Wilson wrote on X.
Wilson said he wants to honor the president for his financial policies.
Wilson cited “Bidenflation” as a reason for making this move while claiming that the economy now forces Americans to carry more cash.
For those unfamiliar, “Bidenflation” is a term coined by critics of former President Joe Biden to describe the rise in inflation during his administration.
In the past four years, inflation peaked at 9.1 percent, which is reportedly the highest rate since the early 1980s.
If the legislation passes, Donald Trump will have his face on the highest-denomination legal tender in U.S. currency.
Donald Trump Could Possibly Serve A Third Term

The Constitution is clear. Under the 22nd Amendment, no one may be elected president more than twice, which should rule out Trump.
However, the Republican-controlled Congress has already shown a wave of support for the president, including a proposal to allow him to seek a third term in office.
“Am I allowed to run again?” Donald Trump said last month at a meeting with House Republicans in South Florida.
According to a YouGov poll, a slim majority of Americans believe President Donald Trump will try to stay in office past 2029.
According to the Miami Herald, 52% of respondents said Trump will definitely or probably attempt to serve a third term.
34% said he definitely or probably would not, and 15% said they weren’t sure.
