Social media detectives noticed something bizarre and creepy about a seemingly normal image of President Donald Trump holding a model airplane in the White House.

Last week, an image of Donald Trump holding a model of Boom Technology Overture jet in the White House went viral. Trump flashed his signature smile while holding the miniature plane model in his left hand.

Blake Scholl, the CEO and co-founder of Boom Technology, shared an image of President Trump holding the model on X/Twitter:

The image seems innocent and routine, right? Trump has posed for reporters thousands of times during his two presidential terms. But if you look closer, you’ll see something strange and creepy in the background, as social media detectives pointed out:

Elon Musk has emerged as one of Donald Trump’s key allies, helping the 78-year-old win the election thanks largely to his reported $288 million donations to the Republican nominee’s campaign.

Musk’s ownership of X/Twitter also allowed plenty of pro-Trump propaganda to spread quickly. Musk, of course, has also received immense criticism for relaxing the X rules that have contributed to widespread misinformation and hate speech by many users.

Boom Technology’s Overture jet is being built to travel at 1,122 miles per hour. It’s in early development, with a planned release date set for 2029-2030.

Trump was sworn in for his second term as President of the United States on Jan. 20, succeeding Joe Biden. At 78 years and 220 days of age, Trump became the oldest person to begin a presidential term.

Additionally, Trump became just the second president in history to serve two non-consecutive terms. Like Grover Cleveland, Trump lost his initial bid for a second term in office before rebounding with a victory on the second try.
