Elon Musk was thrilled to see Joe Rogan purchase one of his Tesla vehicles as the company’s stock continues to fall.
Since life gradually returned to normal following the COVID-19 pandemic, both Elon Musk and Joe Rogan have emerged as controversial figures. On his podcast, Rogan spread plenty of misinformation about COVID and vaccines, as well as conspiracy theories.
And ever since Musk purchased X (formerly Twitter), the social media platform has seen a drastic increase in hate speech and misinformation. As such, X has lost plenty of its users, and the platform’s value dropped by nearly 80 percent in just two years.
As Tesla’s stock continues to crumble, even after Donald Trump tried lending Musk a hand last week, the Department of Government Efficiency head was pleased to see Rogan join the Tesla ownership club.
On X, Elon Musk replied to an article about Rogan purchasing a Tesla S-APEX with the word “Cool,” and the sunglasses emoji.
Tesla’s stock has dropped primarily because of worldwide protests on Musk’s political influence in Donald Trump’s cabinet. Musk donated an estimated $288 million to Trump’s political campaign, using his ownership of X to help the Republican nominee defeat Kamala Harris.
Donald Trump Tried To Help Elon Musk With Tesla Infomercial Last Week

Looking to help Musk and Tesla bounce back, President Trump “bought” one of the vehicles in a public event at the White House last week. Trump showed off the red car and endorsed it infomercial-style, hoping it would convince more Republicans to buy a Tesla.
But Tesla shares are dropping once again, with supporters of the “Tesla Takedown” making their voices heard. Forbes reported last week that Musk’s net worth has dropped by $144.4 billion since December.
Rogan’s podcast is one of the world’s most-followed programs, so we’ll see if that helps Tesla’s stocks in any way.
